Happy holidays
Semester is over, and China is opening up. December has many festivities to celebrate. It looks like I have not updated my blog for a while. For people who have missed my blog posts, let me upload some sketches I made earlier in the year.
Some background of the drawings: when I walked into a live model session, I did not expect this nudity. The beautiful girl walked besides me into the building suddenly took off all her clothes and pose comfortably in front of people. While I was quite in a shock, I saw that everybody there was concentrating on their drawings so I soon started getting into the drawing mood. New York has a lot of nudity in summer, which builds up my appreciation and naturalness about nudity. One anecdote: one day in summer, one of my New York friend updates her social media about her trip to DC, and she was almost half naked and smile big in front of the monument. People definitely would feel something was wrong and I think I understand where she was coming from.
Happy holidays! Next year, besides the domestic trips, I have quite a few international trips scheduled, Germany, East Asia, and maybe Australia. I hope everybody’s life finally can be recovered to the pre-pandemic era.
