Some exotic experiences during social distance era

x/y/z I have been sick for a while now, so I tried to not respond to all these fights, like US-China “cold” wars, like protests, like any political fights in small groups … My world is much simpler, I only wish to be surrounded by mature, sweet, funny and/or inspiring friends 🙂 I hope people don’t read between the lines, as one of the sources of fighting is people don’t know each other and then misunderstand each other.

hospital visit: After locking inside for more than 2 months, I was so looking forward to going outside. I am even very excited about this whole day hospital visit. In this one of the best US hospitals, people handle things very professionally. Before I went, I received a book that describes when and where I can take exams, and what types of preparations needed for the exams.

After the temperature and the mask checks at the front desk, I entered this giant building that is more than 20 floors tall and has multiple connections to other buildings. It is so busy that people are running around with very fast paces. It is pretty much impossible to keep social distancing. Everybody wears a mask, many of them are home-made with interesting styles. I was laughing so hard when somebody looks like a “bank robber” walking towards me 😀 With the guide book in one hand, with the specimens in another, I got this feeling of exploring an amusement park :). My fear for covid-19 is truly reduced after I saw so many doctors and nurses (Thank you) working hard in the hospital.

social distancing!

attacked by a goose: One day I selected a less walked path for running to avoid people. On my way, I met a family of geese — a daddy goose, a mommy goose and two small goose babies. They were crossing the trail. I have stopped and patiently waited for them to pass. The daddy goose hissed at me with his long tongue. I sticked my tongue out and hissed back. I was trying to tell him that I just wanted to pass the trail. Apparently, my goose language is not correct. When I started running again, this goose daddy suddenly flied towards me. I was panic, and tried to run faster. Apparently, this was so dumb. “Don’t you know that geese can fly :D” This big goose caught me up, used his rough big wings slashed my back and then used his beak patted my head. ERR, they smell so bad … I then turned around and ran towards a different direction, BUT, there were another family of geese. In this apocalyptic era, geese took over the world 😀 So I stopped between two geese families for about 2 minutes, Then sneakly, I started running again …

This goose attack is fierce, I got the scratches on my shoulder and a giant bruise on my back …. In the next few days, when I sat at the porch and I saw hawks diving down, I have this illusion that he was going to attack me 😀 Well what heals me is that my son selected his favorite pink piglet and assigned him to protect me ever since then 😀
